One of my favorite things about fall is spending time outside before the weather gets too chilly. The golden light, cool evenings, and changing colors make this season the perfect time to slow down and enjoy simple outdoor moments.

For Friendsgiving (or Thanksgiving!), I wanted everything to feel easy but still special — the kind of spread that invites people to linger and enjoy. On the two tier outdoor console table, I created a generous charcuterie board filled with croissants, sliced cheeses, deli meats, cucumbers, olives, crackers, apricots, and cherry tomatoes. A few sprigs of rosemary tied it all together with the perfect touch of color and freshness.

I set everything out on my Spode Woodland Horses Salad Plates, which bring a touch of rustic charm and timeless elegance to the table. The equestrian motif adds subtle character, and the warm brown tones pair beautifully with the fall colors and wood tones throughout the space.

Next to the board, I filled a glass pitcher with apple cider and paired it with clear hobnail highball glasses, which added a pretty, textured touch that sparkled in the evening light. The color of the cider tied in beautifully with the bronze fire pit and the warm glow of the candles.

A pumpkin floral arrangement (with a homegrown Fairytale pumpkin and flowers from my garden) in the center added a soft, seasonal element that tied everything together beautifully.

Swap the pumpkins for evergreen clippings, add a few ornaments, a timeless cedar garland or metallic accents, and trade the neutral plaid and faux fur throws for one with a hint of shimmer or tartan pattern.
