I first fell in love with bar carts nearly a decade ago when I spotted the gorgeous antique bar cart my aunt had in her home. It was everything I had ever wanted. I begged and pleaded for her to sell it to me. Unfortunately, the answer was no! It was then and there, I started searching for gorgeous bar carts which inspired my popular bar cart post in 2014. After paying off my last student loan, I bought my dream bar cart in January of 2017! I can honestly tell you that it was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I decorate it for every holiday and nearly every season!
While I love decorating for different holidays, I must mention that I’m not a fan of fall. My grandfathers passed away in the month of September and my beloved grandmother who I was a caregiver for died on Halloween 2015. Seeing skeletons, pumpkins, cobwebs, etc. during a time when I’m reminded of my grandmother’s passing is not easy! Everything is a reminder, but this year I’m doing everything I can to ease my pain. As someone who loves decorating with fresh flowers and adores home decor, I felt like this year I’d like to decorate for fall.
My mom texted me a few weeks ago and said she had found the cutest pumpkin in black with gold studs. As a fan of everything studded, especially Valentino Rockstud, I had to have it! After that purchase, I started searching Amazon for a glam sequin pumpkin and was pleasantly surprised to find the most gorgeous pumpkin in a pretty bronze shade. Those two pumpkins set the tone for my glam fall bar cart, and I can honestly tell you, it’s put the biggest smile on my face, a smile that typically doesn’t occur during fall!
If you’re looking to decorate your bar cart for fall, you’re in luck. Today, I’m excited to share a few pictures of my fall bar cart and share tips on how you can choose the perfect bar cart, and theme. I also featured a few entertaining tips that celebrity chefs and entertaining experts have shared with me during our interviews.
How To Choose The Perfect Bar Cart
First things first, if you don’t have a bar cart, now is the time to shop for the perfect bar cart to store your favorite decor items and/or entertaining! My antique gold bar cart has two shelves, which is perfect for me. I typically just use it for decorating and store a few highball glasses, a pitcher and two bottles of Vodka.
Bar carts come in tons of different shades – from rose gold to yellow gold, antique gold, brass, silver, metal and more. They’re available in a variety of styles as well, for example rustic, glam, midcentury or industrial.
I love antiques, mirrored furniture, and tufted furniture, and decorate with pinks so antique gold was the perfect shade for me! If you’re searching for a new bar cart, you’re in luck! Today, I’m excited to share a few gorgeous bar carts in a variety of styles, colors and price ranges.

How To Pick A Theme For Your Bar Cart
This year I decided to go with a glam fall decor theme. Once I purchased my black pumpkin with gold studs, I knew this was the route I was going to go. It was very easy for me, especially since I have a lot of trendy decor items in marble, gold, agate that I knew would pair well with this pumpkin.
Once I chose a theme, I quickly became excited to decorate. I didn’t have to purchase much, I bought a fabulous pumpkin with glitter, and a cute fuchsia pink pumpkin to go with the decor items that I leave on my bar cart throughout the year like my marble coasters, flamingo glassware, gold square tray, agate cheese board, and a few other items.
How about you? What’s your style? Do you tend to gravitate more toward glam home decor, neutrals, antiques, industrial?

How To Shop For Glassware
Choosing the perfect glassware is a lot of fun! When it comes to furniture, I tend to love classic pieces, but when it comes to decor, I search for trendy items. I like to think of glassware as the perfect accessory! It has the power to dress up any bar cart. I absolutely adore flamingos, so it was a no-brainer for me when I spotted these highball glasses and pitcher a few years ago. I love them and can’t get enough of them!
Since I love the color pink so much, I added a few fun highball glasses with pink accents. I typically choose the same color palette season after season, which makes it very easy to decorate for the holidays! Last year I decorated my holiday bar cart in light pink, silver, and gold. This year I may surprise you with a different palette, but I doubt it! 😉

Every Party Needs A Signature Drink
If you’re using your bar cart for entertaining purposes (as well as decor) you’re going to want a signature drink. Over the years I have interviewed countless celebrity chefs and entertaining experts, and they all recommend one thing – you need to have a signature cocktail or drink when your guests arrive.
You can set your bar cart in your living room, dining room, or entryway with a cute sign that states what your signature drink is. You can also use your bar cart for a place to set water, beer or sodas. Your guests want to mingle, and you shouldn’t have to be in the kitchen the entire time serving them drinks. You need to enjoy yourself as well.
A few years ago, I created a cotton candy punch with strawberries, cotton candy vodka, and whipped cream vodka that is absolutely amazing! If I were to throw a party, that would be the drink I would set out on my cart. How about you? What is your signature drink?
