My Valentine’s Day Dessert Table Idea With Bakeware Essentials From Wayfair
One of my favorite ways to make winter feel a little more fun is by decorating my home with Valentine’s Day decor, throw pillows, and creating beautiful tablescapes.
To create this beautiful Valentine’s Day dessert table, I used a vintage-inspired floral print tablecloth to set the tone (Wayfair has an amazing selection of tablecloths and table linens, and it’s one of the easiest ways to make a table feel instantly styled). Then I added simple white cake stands, heart plates, and pink highball glasses to make everything feel Valentine-ready. I baked gorgeous desserts that are easy, effortless, and look like they took hours to bake!
The weather has been beautiful here in Northern California, and since we spend a lot of time outdoors, I initially created the dessert table on one of my outdoor dining tables. I also wanted to showcase what the dessert table looks like indoors! I have a small kitchen table (in my kitchen), and I created the dessert table there! If the weather is still chilly in your area and you don’t have a small kitchen table or an island in your kitchen, you can also place it on your counter. There are countless options!

The Valentine’s Day Bakeware I Used (And Why I Love Each One)
Nordic Ware Rose Bud Cake Pan (Wayfair)
If you want your Valentine’s Day desserts to look bakery-level with almost no effort, this Nordic Ware Rose Bud Cake Pan is such a good pick. The rose shape is detailed and beautiful, so the cakes still look impressive even if you keep the finishing touches super simple.
These mini rose cakes are perfect for Valentine’s Day entertaining because they’re portioned and easy to serve. A light glaze, powdered sugar, or a tiny drizzle is all you need to let the shape shine.
Style tip: Display the rose cakes on a white pedestal stand and add a few chocolate hearts around the base for a festive touch.

This lovely Nordic Ware floral cakelet pan is one of those pieces that’s not only adorable for Valentine’s Day, but also perfect for spring gatherings, Easter desserts, or Mother’s Day. There are three different types of flowers, which look great in every color palette you choose. I love how pretty and detailed it is, and it makes even a basic cake recipe feel special.
Nordic Ware pans are my favorite because they don’t require much effort, and they always make a statement! You don’t need frosting (which can hide the detail). A light glaze or a dusting of powdered sugar is enough to make them look finished and elegant.
Easy serving idea: Add a tiny sprinkle of sanding sugar or a few heart candies on top to make them feel festive.
Nordic Ware Heart Shaped Cake Pan
If you want one dessert to act as the centerpiece of your entire table, this gorgeous Nordic Ware Heart-Shaped Cake Pan is it! This lovely cake pan has beautiful floral detailing, which makes it perfect for Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, engagement parties, birthday parties, bridal showers, or baby showers!
This is such a fun one to bake for Valentine’s Day because you can dress it up in a million ways: powdered sugar, glaze, strawberries, chocolate drizzle, or even a ribbon tied around the cake stand.
Hosting tip: Put this cake on a pedestal stand and let it anchor the whole dessert table. It looks so pretty in photos.
Nordic Ware Tiered Heart Cakelet Pan
These tiered heart cakelets are one of my favorite ways to make Valentine’s Day desserts feel extra special because they look like mini stacked cakes without any complicated decorating.
They’re perfect for a dessert table, a pretty platter, neighbor drop-offs, the office, or even a cozy Valentine’s night at home. I used strawberry cake mix for the pink heart cakelets and red velvet cake mix for the red heart cakelets. I decorated the pink heart cakelets with lovely faux pearl candies.
I also used a silicone heart mold to make little homemade candies to decorate the table (you can use chocolate, candy melts, or any flavor you love). This is such an easy way to add extra Valentine detail without needing frosting or fancy piping skills. PS: If you’ve never melted chocolate wafers (or other flavors), you can do so by placing a bowl with melting wafers in the microwave or by using a double boiler on your stovetop.
Style tip: Adorn the tiered heart cakelets on the platter with chocolate candies, sprinkles, faux pearl candies, conversation hearts, and more!
KitchenAid Classic Series 4.5-Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer
If there’s one small kitchen appliance item I’m thankful I invested in, it’s definitely my KitchenAid 4.5 Quart Stand Mixer. I’ve had mine for nearly a decade, and it’s still going strong! If you’ve pondered purchasing one, I highly recommend doing so! You’ll reach for it all year long – not just for holiday baking. I love the 4.5-quart size because it’s the perfect size for mixing cake batter, making cookie dough, homemade ice cream, homemade marshmallows, frosting, chocolate mousse, and more!
