Winter 2018 has been one of the chilliest winters on record. One thing is definitely for sure, it has us craving comfort food, especially delicious soup. This afternoon, actor Dylan McDermott joined my favorite interviewees: Clinton Kelly, and chefs Carla Hall and Michael Symon to chat about his new show “LA To Vegas”. The New York born actor also dished on his recent trip to Egypt with fiancee Maggie Q! Apparently she has a cookbook coming out soon. That is one cookbook I will definitely have to try!

Dylan and Clinton also made a delicious split pea soup that sounds fabulous. Here are just a few of the ingredients that they used to make the mirepoix!
- Olive oil
- White wine
- Split peas
- Vegetable stock
- Herbs: Rosemary, Bay leaf, Thyme (Bouquet Garni)
- Materials: Dutch oven
