For this Valentine’s Day dessert cart, I styled the top shelf with two beautiful cakes displayed on white cake stands, accented with heart-shaped decor. The Prettiest Floral Heart Valentine’s Day Cake
How gorgeous is this floral heart cake? I’m absolutely obsessed! I created it using the Nordic Ware Floral Heart Bundt Pan, which has a six-cup capacity—perfect for a single cake mix. For this one, I used a pink strawberry cake mix and whipped it up in my KitchenAid stand mixer. The key to flawless results? Spraying the pan thoroughly with Baker’s Joy baking spray.
This elegant cake is perfect not only for Valentine’s Day but also for engagement parties, bridal showers, birthdays, anniversaries, and baby showers. I decorated mine with fresh strawberries and placed it on a white cake stand, making it the centerpiece of my dessert cart. Adorable Tiered Heart Mini Cakes
I’m head over heels for these tiered mini heart cakes! I made them using the Nordic Ware Tiered Heart Cakelet Pan, which creates perfectly shaped mini cakes that are ideal for Valentine’s Day, engagement parties, weddings, and anniversaries.
For this batch of mini heart shaped cakes, I used a red velvet cake mix to keep with the Valentine’s theme and adorned the cooled cakes with heart-shaped candies. You can frost them, drizzle with glaze, sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate them however you like—they’re versatile, beautiful and absolutely delicious!
Decadent Chocolate Mousse in Heart-Shaped Ramekins
I’ve always wanted to try making chocolate mousse, and now that I know how easy it is, I’ll be making it year-round! All you need is heavy whipping cream and premium chocolate chips. After heating the cream and melting the chocolate in a saucepan, I whipped more cream separately and folded it into the chocolate mixture.
I spooned the mousse into heart-shaped ramekins and chilled them in the refrigerator for a few hours. Just before serving, I topped them with whipped cream and added adorable gold heart-shaped spoons for an extra festive flair. The result? A rich, creamy dessert that tastes like decadent chocolate ice cream. It is my new favorite dessert! I plan on making it again soon.
Festive Ice Cream Sundaes with Red Velvet Heart Waffles
For a fun, festive and out of the box Valentine’s Day dessert, I decided to create ice cream sundaes topped with red velvet heart-shaped waffles! I used my Dash Express Heart Waffle Maker and couldn’t believe how easy it was to use.
I made the waffles using leftover red velvet cake mix from my tiered mini hearts. After baking, I froze them briefly to help them stand upright on top of the sundaes. I served the sundaes in Dakota Fields Isabeau 10 oz Dessert Bowls, which feature gorgeous vintage-inspired hobnail detailing. They are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any celebration and are also a must for dessert with the family.
