One of my favorite things about the holidays is shopping for great gifts that I hope my friends and family will love. It’s no secret shopping for an amazing gift can be tough, especially when shopping for kids. You want to get them something that you know they’ll enjoy and will spend hours playing with. One thing is for sure, kids love Disney and they have for decades!

Toy expert Marianne Szymanski, creator of Toy Tips (an independent toy testing and research company) joined me for an interview this week from the all-new Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort. She dished on the hottest toys for kids of all ages. Tech is always popular, that’s just a given, but I was excited to see that classic toys are making a comeback! Marianne M. Szymanski is a double decade branding and consumer product researcher. At age 23, she created Toy Tips, an independent toy testing and research company. Marianne has been an active media personality for more than 25 years. She received a BA in Psychology from Marquette University and a Publishing Certificate from Stanford University. Marianne also teaches two entrepreneurship courses at the University of Southern California in the Grief Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Marshall School of Business and Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism.
