The weather has been extremely warm here in Northern California! Fall-like weather doesn’t typically hit until around late October/early November. While the weather hasn’t changed much, our flowers have been signaling that fall is on its way! The hydrangeas have started turning green and the leaves on my weeping willow have begun to fade a bit. The field has turned brown and won’t be green again until around December. The pumpkins in my garden have started to grow, and I have gradually started incorporating cozy fall pieces to my decor. Everyone recommends using Granny Smith apples for caramel apples, but Honeycrisp apples were my brother’s favorite so I made sure and used those instead (and they were delicious!). My mom loves the caramel recipe she’s had since high school and is adamant about using it every time we make caramel apples, so we made that in a saucepan and then added it to the heated fondue pot in the center! There are four spots for apples and six trays for your favorite toppings. I added chopped chocolate candies, marshmallows, nuts, sprinkles and crushed Oreo cookies. These delicious caramel apples were so much fun to make and eat! I ate a couple and shared the rest with my family and neighbors. I highly recommend this gadget.

Like many of you, I love French-inspired bistro sets! I have searched high and low for one that is well-made, durable, foldable and at a great price point. I purchased this beautiful Arlmont & Co. 8.5’ Sunbrella Two-Tone Pagoda Patio Umbrella in black and white a few months ago and I’m obsessed with it! It’s classy, chic and definitely makes a statement in my garden! Not only that, this timeless black and white striped patio umbrella keeps my flowers (and me!) cool on a warm summer and early fall day.
Classic White Adirondack Chairs
I purchased my beloved white Three Posts Marciano Adirondack Chairs in June, and I had to share them again because I love them so much and use them all the time! They’re classic, timeless and so comfortable! Another great thing about these chairs is they are foldable and can be moved to the shade, in your garden, your patio, by the pool, your front porch! You can also put them in your car and take them to the beach or camping! One thing is for sure, I am going to buy a few more matching Adirondack chairs soon and put them around my fire pit.
