When it comes to entertaining, I tend to gravitate toward beautiful yet effortlessly chic tablescapes. Entertaining can be very stressful, so I try to make things as easy as possible in the kitchen and when decorating. With fall nearly officially upon us, I wanted to share how you can create a gorgeous fall tablescape that is easy to recreate and is ideal for every day, a friend’s birthday, tailgating, Halloween, Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving too!
Don’t you just love this classic and cozy plaid tablecloth, and this gorgeous black pumpkin shaped Dutch oven? KitchenAid Stand Mixer
My white KitchenAid stand mixer is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I use it to make pizza dough, homemade marshmallows, pie crusts, cake mixes and much more! Wayfair has a great selection of KitchenAid stand mixers in the size and color of your choice! I have a 4.5 quart KitchenAid stand mixer and it is perfect for every day. I highly recommend it.
For starters my mom and I made this beautiful Dutch apple pie and used my KitchenAid stand mixer to make the dough!
Nordic Ware Harvest Leaves Bundt Pan
Years ago I purchased my first Nordic Ware bundt pan and fell in love with it immediately. I will admit I was very intimidated at first, I thought it was going to be difficult to use due to the intricate pattern, but it wasn’t! I now own at least 10 Nordic Ware pans in a variety of styles for nearly every holiday! This gorgeous Nordic Ware Harvest Leaves Bundt Pan is one of my favorites. I purchased it two years ago and use it throughout the crisp autumn months. For this spice cake, I used a box cake mix, mixed it in my stand mixer and once it baked (and cooled) I placed it on a white cake stand. The cake turned out delicious and it was a hit with my neighbors. Talk about a win-win!
Fall Inspired Plaid Tablecloth
Nothing says fall quite like plaid! This classic The Holiday Aisle Alcove Plaid 100% Cotton Tablecloth will be a staple in your home (and on your patio!) for many years to come. I love the autumn shades intertwined with white. This colorscape is classic and very versatile. I purchased a smaller version of this tablecloth quite a few years ago and I love it so much that I decided to purchase it in the larger 60″ x 120″ size so I can use one for my dining table, and the other on my dessert table.
White Melamine Plates
I may not have been in the market for new dinnerware, but invested in these gorgeous (and affordable) Certified International Perlette Melamine Plates last month that have been on my wish list and couldn’t be happier! I love everything about them, especially the beaded ruffled trim, which reminds me of pearls! These beautiful plates are dishwasher safe, easy to clean and are very practical! They are ideal for everyday use and also make a statement when hosting.
I set a salad plate on top of each dinner plate, but you could always set a fall inspired salad plate on top of each dinner plate! Wayfair has a great selection of fall plates in a variety of styles. I love these gorgeous pumpkin plates!
White Cloth Napkins & Fall Inspired Napkin Holders
If you’re looking to elevate your tablescape, you can’t go wrong with classic cloth napkins! My grandmother always used cloth napkins at every family dinner, and I try to emulate her classic style and be sustainable at the same time! Wayfair has a great selection of cloth napkins in many different colors and prints. I purchased this set of white cloth napkins and love them! They are well made, machine washable, anti-wrinkle and reversible!
Since I didn’t use fall inspired plates for this cozy fall tablescape, I decided to go with a autumn inspired napkin holder instead! I stumbled on these chic Alcott Hill Brass Pumpkin Napkin Rings and I am obsessed with them. They are gorgeous, affordable, well made and come in a pack of six! They are ideal for every day and will also make a statement on your Friendsgiving tablescape! Don’t they look fabulous paired with my gold faux bamboo flatware? I think so too!
Pumpkin Charcuterie Board
You can’t go wrong with a pumpkin shaped charcuterie board or cheese board for fall! Wayfair has an amazing selection of pumpkin shaped boards! This one would be perfect for the kids snacks after school, is a must on your coffee table when watching your favorite TV show on a rainy Saturday, when entertaining friends and that’s just the beginning! I added a few crackers, a salami rosette, grapes and cheese to my board! What will you add to yours?
Pumpkin Cast Iron Dutch Oven
How fabulous is this Smith and Clark Cast Iron Pumpkin Figural Dutch Oven? Not only is it gorgeous, but it is heavy duty, well-made and affordable too! It comes in a few different sizes and colors. I purchased it in black because I love incorporating many different shades in my tablescapes, and this color is very versatile and will pair well with pinks, oranges, white and a variety of fall colors!
This Dutch oven was delivered over the weekend and I used it to make apple crisp that evening. It was so easy to use, and the best part was that the apple crisp was delicious.
White Ceramic Pie Pan
My mom loves baking, everyone loves the delicious pies, brownies and cakes she makes. This week she and I baked this beautiful apple pie! One thing we both believe in is investing in durable and heavy duty bakeware. Wayfair has an amazing selection of white ceramic pie pans that you will adore!
Fall Garland
I have quite a few fall garlands that I have invested in over the years, but decided to use this classic fall garland with leaves because this colorscape pairs well with my orange, gray and white plaid tablecloth! I planted pumpkins and gourds this year and added them to the tablescape. Not only are fresh pumpkins and gourds ideal for a tablescape, but so are faux pumpkins, so you can use them year after year!
Fresh Flowers In Clear Glass Vases
Like many of you, I think fresh flowers have the power to elevate any tablescape! I used fresh flowers from my garden for this tablescape and added them to one of my many glass vases!
