Can you believe the Kentucky Derby is less than a week away?! I’ve always been a huge fan, in fact my mom and I rescued a dog during the Derby three years ago and we named him Calvin in honor of Hall of Fame jockey Calvin Borel. Yes, we love the Kentucky Derby that much! If you won’t be heading to Churchill Downs next weekend, but you’re looking to throw a party or will be heading to one, there are three things you must have:
A beautiful fashionable hat
A gorgeous spring dress
And a mint julep!
Once you have those three things covered, all you have to do is arrive and I believe you’re all set! Here are a few of my favorite dresses and hats which would be perfect for the Kentucky Derby next weekend or if you’re heading to a Derby themed bridal shower or party some time in the future.
