My love for kitchen gadgets started when I was a kid. I would watch infomercials and beg my mom to order a mandolin or a food dehydrator! I’d tell her how they would make her life easier in the kitchen, she wouldn’t have to work so hard and her fruits and vegetables would be so pretty! Sadly she never budged. Thankfully years later my parents bought me an Easy Bake Oven and a Barbie ice cream machine, so I can’t say I was too deprived – even though I dreamt of owning a Snoopy Sno Cone Machine! While I didn’t get one as a kid, I did treat myself as an adult. I must say the Ninja chops ice far better! 😉 These days I’ve moved on from Easy-Bake Ovens to air fryers, Instant Pots, and the trusty Vitamix!
I love spending time in the kitchen, but like many of you, I don’t have the time to spend hours chopping vegetables or standing in front of a stove when it’s 100 degrees outside! I’d rather put something in the air fryer or in the Instant Pot, and be done. How about you?
Today, I’m excited to share 10 Kitchen Gadgets I own and love! They’re perfect for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and will make a great gift for yourself throughout the year.
The Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven Is My Favorite Kitchen Gadget
I first fell in love with air fryers while conducting interviews with renowned nutritionists and dietitians about 10 years ago. You wouldn’t believe how expensive they were at that time! They touted the benefits and I wanted one desperately and put it on my wish list. About five years ago while watching QVC they shared an air fryer that was under $100. I wasn’t making the best dietary decisions at that time and knew I needed to change. As a workaholic who works from home, I never found the time to make myself a decent meal. Hotdogs, chips, and pretzels were consumed on the regular! I can be rather impatient about things in life, especially cooking which can be time-consuming. I was sold when they mentioned you could make healthy French fries in little to no time and had to have it.
To say I fell in love with my new air fryer instantly would be an understatement, I was borderline obsessed! Every person I talked to knew about my air fryer and how I cooked bacon, made healthy French fries that tasted just like a well-known fast-food chain, and how I grill vegetables in it!
I upgraded to the stainless steel Cuisinart air fryer and have had it for a few years. I love it because it has seven functions and you can adjust the temperature with a turn of the knob. You can “air fry, convection bake, convection broil, bake, broil, warm, toast.” It’s very efficient. I’ll admit, 90% of the time I use the air fry function. I love making pizza with these amazing oven fired pizza crusts, grill vegetables, make French fries, bake potatoes and cook bacon! I have made the Blue Jean Chef’s Stromboli in it, and it’s fantastic.
One of the many things I love about it is that you don’t have to use much oil when air frying! Bacon doesn’t call for any, and when I’m grilling asparagus or making pizza, I will spritz just a little olive oil spray! I use my air fryer at least once a day. One thing I will suggest is to line the bottom baking tray with aluminum foil so it doesn’t get too greasy.
Cuisinart Air Fryer Facts
The Cuisinart TOA-60 Convection Toaster Air Fryer retails for $199.
It includes an oven rack, baking pan, air fryer rack/basket.
This amazing kitchen gadget will make a great gift for the new graduate, for mom this Mother’s Day, and more! I highly recommend it and don’t know what I would do without it.

Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker Is A Must Have Kitchen Gadget
The Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker is my weakness! I absolutely adore it. You can make coffee, tea, and even Snapple drinks in it. Mine came with a set of 42 K-Cups which was great so I had a chance to try out many different flavors and brands available! I don’t like drinking caffeine very often, it makes my migraines worse for some reason, so these days you can find me sipping on The Donut Shop’s Decaf K-Cups. I love them! The flavor is great and they’re budget-friendly. I get 96 K-Cups for $43.20. That’s a win-win in my book!
The Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker is very easy to use. You add water to the reservoir, put your K-Cup in the K-Cup Pod Holder, and put your mug on the drip tray! I love that you have the option of making the coffee stronger if you wish with a touch of the button! This Starbucks Caramel Macchiato Creamer is my favorite way to sweeten my coffee when I need a treat!
If you’d prefer purchasing a Keurig on its own, you’ll be pleased to know it’s available with fast and free Amazon Prime Shipping! I own it in slate gray, but it’s also available in a few other colors!
Please excuse the Christmas tree in this picture! I took this photo a while ago! This is my favorite mug, especially since it’s so lightweight.
Vintage Inspired Smeg Citrus Juicer Is A Gorgeous And Functional Kitchen Gadget
I love Smeg appliances and kitchen gadgets, I think they’re absolutely gorgeous! I fell in love with their vintage-inspired Citrus Juicer years ago, and was desperate to find one in white! Little did I know that white Smeg appliances are exclusive to Williams-Sonoma. I have had the white Smeg citrus juicer for two years now and it’s just as efficient as it is gorgeous! If you’re not a fan of pulp, you’ll love that the “strainer separates out the pulp from the juice.” It will make a great Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift for those who love making fresh lemonade, drinking orange juice, or is in need of citrus juice for baking or making Margaritas this summer!
The Vitamix Is My Most Used Kitchen Gadget Every Morning
If there’s one appliance I use religiously, it’s my Vitamix 5200 blender, which is currently on sale. I may have lived on junk food years ago, but I have changed my ways in the last year! I started eating Greek Yogurt with chia seeds in early 2020. This was huge for me! I hate breakfast but knew that I needed to make a change. After reading the book “Atomic Habits” and learning about the benefits of habit stacking, I decided to incorporate the Greek Yogurt and chia seeds in daily smoothies. I have been pretty consistent with this since about September or October! I’ll use half a banana, Greek Yogurt, water, red raspberries, and blueberries! This protein and iron-rich smoothie is my favorite thing to prepare in my Vitamix!
You can make so many things in the Vitamix! You can blend fruits, make drinks, soup, salsa, peanut butter, almond milk, almond butter, ice cream, sorbet, and so much more! I don’t have children of my own yet, but I’ve heard that you can make exceptional baby food in it as well!
The Vitamix 5200 Blender retails for $449.95, but is currently on sale for $399.95! It’s a rarity when you can save $50 on a Vitamix blender! I have had mine for about seven or eight years now and have never had a problem with it. It’s still as efficient as the day I received it for Christmas! If you’re looking for an amazing gift that everyone will love or for the person that’s hard to shop for, I highly recommend a Vitamix! They will love you forever, but I’m sure they do already! 🙂
This KitchenAid Stand Mixer Is A Must For Bakers
When I was a kid my grandma would have me make whipped cream with an old fashion hand beater every holiday. I can’t say that I minded, it was nice chatting with my grandma, mom, and Aunt Chris in the kitchen. These days you won’t find me making whipped cream by hand without muscle cramps, unfortunately. Two years ago I bought my white KitchenAid Stand Mixer and have been obsessed since. I love using it to make cookies, homemade marshmallows, and desserts – I may try to eat as healthy as possible now, but I can’t give up my dessert! It’s so easy to put ingredients in a mixing bowl and have it operate on its own. I get much more done and everything turns out fantastic! Mine came with a few attachments, but I’m eager to purchase more this summer. Have you had a chance to try out the ice cream maker attachment or the pasta roller? Both are on my list!
The KitchenAid stand mixer comes in a wide array of colors and is one of the best kitchen gadgets for bakers. I love them all but went with classic white since it pairs well with everything including my Mackenzie-Childs courtly check kitchen decor essentials.
Spiralizer For Making Zoodles, Curly Fries, and More!
I LOVE making zoodles! I rarely eat pasta now, and I don’t miss it at all! The spiralizer I bought is no longer for sale, which makes me sad because I’ve been meaning to share it for years now. The OXO Spiralizer looks very similar, so I had to feature it. When making zoodles, I just cut the zucchini in half and I cut the ends off, and attach it to the spiralizer. There’s a video on the website, which will show you how easy it is to use!
Some people boil their zucchini noodles/zoodles, but I don’t. I make an easy tomato sauce, then I add my zoodles and mix. It only takes a few minutes and this low-carb dish is so good! I’ve gotten my pasta-loving family hooked.
The OXO Spiralizer “includes three stainless-steel blades: a shredder blade for cutting long, spaghetti-like spiral strands; a chipper blade for long, thick spiral strands; and a straight blade for long, ribbon-like strands.” It’s dishwasher-safe and the blade is removable!
Zoodles are so easy to cook on the stovetop!
Instant Pot Makes Cooking A Breeze
I bought an Instant Pot Mini 3 Qt. 7-in-1 Appliance a few months ago because I’d always wanted one and it was an amazing price. I love making steel cut oats in it since they’re notoriously horrible to make on the stovetop. This spring and summer I’m looking forward to using it more to steam vegetables from the garden. I eat Greek yogurt daily and look forward to making that as well. The Instant Pot comes in multiple sizes, making them perfect for those who live alone, couples, and large families. They’ll make great gifts for the graduate, the new homeowners, your parents, or yourself!
Instant Pot Facts
The Instant Pot Duo Mini 3 Qt. Is “an electric pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cooker, yogurt maker, steamer, sauté pan” and more!
This particular one is on sale for $63.94 with free Amazon Prime shipping.
Adjustable Plastic Bag Holder Makes Life Easier In The Kitchen
The Original Jokari Adjustable Baggy Rack Stand is one of my favorite Amazon finds and kitchen gadgets! If you don’t have extra hands in the kitchen or you want to put leftovers away ASAP, this plastic bag holder is a must! You just attach the bag to it, and throw your favorite leftovers in it! A pack of two is only $11.35 with fast and free Amazon Prime shipping. I bought mine three years ago, and they’re still in great shape! PS: If you’d like more than two, you’ll be pleased to know that you can buy them in sets of four, six, and more!
The Ninja 400 Watt Blender/Food Processor Is A Must For Summer
I typically use my Vitamix every day, but in the summer my Ninja Food Processor gets a ton of use! It makes small batches of salsa easily, and is a must for making snow cones! I don’t know how hot it gets in your area, but here in Northern California, it gets very hot! Last summer was one of the hottest summers ever and we lived on snow cones every day. This powerful and super affordable food processor/blender chops ice much finer than my Vitamix. I love that it’s dishwasher safe and very easy to clean. I use my molcajete to make guacamole, but apparently, you can make delicious guacamole in this blender as well! It’s a must for entertaining and for avocado toast for breakfast.
Ninja Facts: It includes a “400-watt power pod, 48 ounce Pitcher, stacked blade assembly, pitcher splash guard, 16-ounce Chopper bowl, chopping blade assembly, chopper splash guard.”
Kuhn Rikon 2-Cup Pull & Chop Food Chopper Is A Must For Every Day & Special Occasions
My mom bought this amazing Kuhn Rikon 2-cup pull and chop food chopper on QVC last year and told me how phenomenal it is for chopping vegetables in bite-size pieces, especially celery and onions. All you have to do is pull the handle (kind of like starting a lawnmower) and voila your veggies are chopped. This fantastic little kitchen gadget is worth its weight in gold. I made bacon stuffing for Thanksgiving, and I don’t know what I would have done without it. It made cutting the veggies in tiny bite-size pieces so easy and beautiful too! Everything was the same size, and it looked like a professional had made it. I don’t think I’d ever been more impressed with my cooking abilities! 😉 It’s only $19.98 and an absolute MUST!
Look how finely this amazing food chopper chopped celery in bite-size pieces! I took this photo on Thanksgiving when I was making stuffing!
