Like many of you, I love beauty products. New makeup, beauty tools, skincare products, and makeup brushes are my absolute weakness. Six years ago I became hooked on Tom Ford makeup when I bought one of his lipsticks in the shade “Rory”. A few years later I splurged on his bronzer and quickly became obsessed. While the brand might be pricey, a little goes a long way. The products and brushes last forever!
I can’t say that I’ve tried every type of product by the brand, but the ones I’ve tried have been game changers! I absolutely adore every item I’ve purchased, and if I had to make the tough decision of picking just one I don’t think I could. They’re all amazing, especially my Tom Ford Brow Gel which is finally back in stock!
Today, I’m excited to share a few of my favorite Tom Ford makeup must haves. I’d love to hear your favorites! Please feel free to contact me and let me know!
Tom Ford Eyebrow Products For Thick Natural Looking Brows
I’m a natural brunette with thick hair but wasn’t blessed in the eyebrow department. My eyebrows are very thin and blonde. I bought his fiber gel and brow pencil last summer and quickly became obsessed. For the first time in my life, I have thick natural-looking eyebrows! Even my family notices when I go a day without wearing makeup. They don’t ask where are your lashes, they ask where are your eyebrows?! 😉 These products have made quite a difference. They are my lifeline now!
I bought this amazing brow sculptor in the color taupe a year ago and love it! It has a “calligraphy tip” on one side and a brush on the other end for easy application. It also comes with an extra cartridge, so you get TWO pencils in one! You can use the brow sculptor on its own or you can add gel. I add gel because my brows are so thin! This product has lasted me forever. I simply adore it.
I have been obsessed with this magnificent fiber brow gel for nearly a year now and panic when I see it’s sold out, out of fear it’ll never be restocked! I love the look of thick natural-looking brows and tried for years to achieve this look. A few years ago I purchased a gel by a different brand and ended up looking like that chihuahua meme that everyone shares of the dog with thick black brows. Yes, my brows looked thick but they looked so unnatural. I looked awful! The Tom Ford brow gel is beyond amazing. I just brush the gel over the brows once and they’re thick and natural-looking. No more thin brows for me!
Tom Ford Eye Makeup
I love eyeshadow. When I was in my early 20s I had a Chanel palette that I loved but was discontinued. Over the years I’ve tried many different palettes by a variety of brands that I hoped would compare, and unfortunately, none came close. Well, that was until I splurged on my first Tom Ford eyeshadow quad! I purchased my first Tom Ford eyeshadow palette in “Double Indemnity” at the Sephora Sale in April and quickly became obsessed. I purchased another in the color combo “Nude Dip” and adore it! Tom Ford quads are easy to apply and have zero fallout. The colors are rich, gorgeous and come with applicators and a small brush. It’s so easy to create a natural look or a smokey eye. I highly recommend them! I can honestly tell you that I have not used my other eyeshadow palettes by other brands since purchasing these palettes because the colors are phenomenal and can make any woman feel like a pro when applying makeup.
I updated this post in December 2021 after purchasing the limited edition eyeshadow quad in “body heat” at the most recent Sephora Sale. If you’re searching for the perfect brown eyeshadow quad, this is definitely it! It has four rich and beautiful colors that are easy to use, blendable, and buildable for a natural look or a smokey eye.
The Tom Ford cream and powder eye color is easy to apply! I think it’s perfect for summer. I personally love the shade naked bronze, which has a base color and a shimmery dry eyeshadow which you can place on top of the cream. A little goes a long way and the color really makes your eye color pop! You can apply it with a brush or even with your finger if you’d wish.
Over the years I’d heard how phenomenal the Tom Ford liquid eyeliner is and purchased it about six months ago. This extremely popular dual-ended liner definitely lives up to the hype! It has a very fine calligraphy tip on one end and a brush on the other. This amazing liner is so easy to use, lasts all day, and in my opinion is water-proof (even though it isn’t listed on the website).
I started using it on my lower lash line/waterline because it doesn’t smudge and lasts the entire day. I can’t recommend this eyeliner enough. It is the best I’ve ever used and is so easy to apply.
Here are a few additional facts that Nordstrom shared on their website about the Tom Ford liquid eyeliner “it’s Paraben-free; sulfate-free; phthalate-free; alcohol-free; glycerin-free; sulfite-free; talc-free; peroxide-free; mineral oil-free; BHA-free; BHT-free; propylene glycol-free; petrolatum-free; formaldehyde donor-free; ethanolamine-free.” What’s not to love?!
Must Have Tom Ford Foundation For Dry Skin
When I first applied the Tom Ford traceless stick foundation I wasn’t crazy about it. I thought my dry sensitive skin was too dry for the product and that I probably needed to wear a primer under it, but after about a half-hour of wear, I quickly changed my mind. It is phenomenal! It blurred all of my imperfections, didn’t look like I was wearing any makeup at all even though it is full coverage! It looked natural and provided a glow without a highlighter.
This stick foundation also makes a great contour! Occasionally I’ll wear my tinted moisturizer and apply this as a contour on the sides of my nose and under my cheekbone contour.
Tom Ford Bronzer and Bronzer Brush
I fell in love with the Tom Ford Soleil glow powder bronzer everyone has been sharing on social media and talked about in beauty publications a few years ago. I purchased it in the mini size during the Sephora Sale a few years ago and I absolutely adore it. My skin is very sensitive, so once I find a product I love, I stick with it. This bronzer is very natural looking and “features a luxurious mix of plant-derived butters to nourish and soften the skin”! It comes in two shades “gold dust” and “terra” and in two sizes. I wear it in the color “terra.” I am head over heels in love with it. It’s perfect for every skin type. I think the reason mine has lasted so long is that I use it with the complementing bronzer brush with soft bristles that is definitely worth the hype!
I purchased my #05 bronzer brush before Tom Ford started using synthetic bristles. I’d heard amazing things about this brush but was on the fence about buying it because it is so expensive. $115 for a brush? To me, that was unheard of until I watched a few Youtube tutorials and couldn’t believe how just one brush could transform someone’s face! Not only did it make this person’s bronzer look natural and beautiful, but it somehow contoured her face and made her cheekbones look higher. She looked rested and youthful! I bought it right away and haven’t looked back. I absolutely adore this brush!
My Favorite Contour and Highlighter Doubles As A Cream Bronzer
This Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate palette was on my list for a very long time but I hesitated to buy it for years! The reason I waited so long to buy it was because a celebrity makeup artist mentioned how hard it was to use and unless you were an expert you should shy away from trying it. That couldn’t be further from the truth! I am nowhere near an expert, I just like makeup and I find it very easy to use. I use it quite a bit for contouring my face with the Shade and Illuminate brush. If I’m having a bad rosacea outbreak and don’t feel like using my powder bronzer, I will use the darker shade in this palette as a bronzer. I apply the illuminator as a highlighter on my cupid’s bow, on my cheekbones, and on the center of my nose. This compact is great! There is a reason it sells out so often.
Here is some additional information about the ingredients: “Paraben-free; sulfate-free; phthalate-free; silicone-free; alcohol-free; gluten-free; glycerin-free; talc-free; sulfite-free; peroxide-free; mineral oil-free; BHT-free; BHA-free; PEG-free; alcohol dry-free; propylene glycol-free; petrolatum-free; formaldehyde donor-free; ethanolamine-free.”
When I purchased the palette, I purchased the complementing synthetic brush! It is very easy to use, especially since a little product goes a long way. All I do is sweep the color on my cheeks and smooth it out. I then use the brush to apply the illuminator (highlighter). PS: The brush is very easy to clean! I use a silicone pad and Dawn dish soap.
Tom Ford Lipstick and Lipgloss Favorites
In December of 2015 while grieving my grandma’s passing I started watching makeup tutorials on Youtube. That was how I dealt with grief and honestly how I learned to apply my makeup correctly! After watching a few makeup tutorials online I splurged on a Tom Ford lipstick and the rest is history! The lipstick didn’t dry my lips, kept them hydrated and I felt like a new woman! I own a few Tom Ford lipsticks in nude shades and love them!
Tom Ford lipgloss is worth the hype! The lipgloss is not sticky, comes in a variety of colors, and stays on for hours! It’s very hydrating, and the colors are beautiful. I have purchased three nude shades over the years and I wish I could feature all of them. The only problem is my mom’s stolen a few from me! 😉 She is the queen of lip gloss so if she loves them, you know they have to be good!
