It’s hard to believe that I will soon have to bid my favorite characters from my absolute favorite show, NBC’s “Parenthood” adieu. It’s been a good 10 years since I was so saddened by a series finale, and that was when my “Friends” Monica and Chandler left their New York City apartment and Central Perk for the suburbs. I’m hoping that the series finale of NBC’s “Parenthood” will end on a positive note (and the rumors of Zeek’s death won’t come true) but time will only tell.
In many ways last week’s episode of “Parenthood” (season 6, episode 7) was very positive. Amber realized through her mother Sarah’s guidance that she will be a great mom once her child is born, Joel decided he’s fighting for Julia and his family, and it’s always great to see Drew and his grandfather Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) bond, this time over Grandpa Zeek’s childhood love of shooting cans with his dad.
Will this Thursday’s episode of “Parenthood” be as memorable? Here are a few clips from tonight’s episode (season six, episode 8). Don’t forget to tune into “Parenthood” and catch our favorite family, the Bravermans on NBC at 10 pm!
