My dogs Fred, Lucy, Francesca, and Calvin have had a rough spring and summer thanks to fleas. I’m not sure what caused the outbreak, all I know is that when I took them to the veterinarian I was told that nearly every pet in my rural town has had a tough time with fleas this season. I bought my precious pups flea preventatives and flea treatments, and in all honesty, none have worked well.
When I heard that one of my favorite interviewees, wellness expert, and Hallmark Home & Family member Sophie Uliano was going to be on Home & Family this week making DIY natural flea solutions, I knew I wanted to feature it on the blog and of course try her natural flea shampoo and natural flea spray on my beloved dogs. I haven’t had a chance to make it yet, but I’ve heard it’s amazing! I’m looking forward to whipping up a batch this weekend and trying it on my “fur-babies.”
