Nothing says summer in my opinion quite like s’mores! I love making s’mores throughout the year and thankfully there are many different ways to do so. My favorite is using a fire pit! I purchased this Mainstays Owen Wood Fire Pit from Walmart a few weeks ago and I’m in love with it. It’s less than $45 with free shipping and is easy to put together which is music to my ears. I’m not a big fan of assembling items I purchase, I tend to get frustrated, and needless to say if I can’t get anyone else to put it together, it will just sit in the box. This fire pit took me about 10 minutes to put together and that included time to get the pieces out of the box! I’ve never been more proud. 🙂 This summer I can’t wait to use my fire pit as often as possible and recreate this gorgeous outdoor s’mores tablescape, which I absolutely adore.
One thing is for sure, tablescapes are my new hobby. I quickly became obsessed after I created my gorgeous citrus-inspired tablescape last month. I just knew I had to create another! I am a huge fan of pink and white gingham check and fell head over heels in love with this gorgeous table linen. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s very easy to wipe clean. I knew that it was ideal for my s’mores tablescape as gooey marshmallows and chocolate can be quite messy.

It’s perfect for the garden, a patio, or any spot in your backyard. I plan on using it outside as a desk this summer while working on my laptop outside, and it will be great come Thanksgiving!

I love trendy, chic, and beautiful tablecloths and table runners! I can’t get enough of Walmart’s citrus table linens and summer-inspired linens! This beautiful and very affordable pink and white gingham check tablecloth with fringe is ideal for my beautiful outdoor s’mores tablescape. I intend on using it time and time again for nearly every occasion. Pink is always a must in my book and this beauty will get a lot of use throughout the year! I also think it’s perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, Easter, birthday parties, etc.
Classic Pioneer Woman Dishes Are A Must
I purchased this set of Pioneer Woman cowgirl lace dishes in the color linen recently and I’m head over heels in love with them! This scalloped set of 12 dishes is absolutely beautiful, especially the beaded pattern along the edge. It comes with four dinner plates, four bowls, and four salad plates. Since s’mores aren’t very big, I used the salad plates which are the perfect size for small desserts. Next time I will have to use my dinner plates, so I can fit more on my plate! 😉
Gorgeous Rose Colored Glasses
“These rose colored glasses that I’m that I’m looking through” are beyond gorgeous! I think we can all agree that the Pioneer Woman collection is phenomenal! These beautiful The Pioneer Woman Amelia Glass Tumblers are a breath of fresh air and have the power to brighten any tablescape! They come in a few different colors, but I had to have them in this beautiful shade of pink and complement this pink, yellow and white tablescape beautifully. These stunning vintage inspired glasses are under $16 and are perfect. This is my second set of Pioneer Woman glasses and I highly recommend them!
White Cloth Napkins Elevate Any Tablescape
I typically don’t use cloth napkins unless I’m entertaining! This hostess with the mostest 😉 can’t get enough of these classic and affordable Mainstays white napkins. They’re budget-friendly (under $2 for a set of two), machine washable, and can be used year-round, whether you’re having dinner with your immediate family, hosting a holiday get-together, or celebrating a friend’s birthday or promotion! I highly recommend them and think they’re fantastic. White cloth napkins have the power to elevate any casual tablescape! Since they are machine washable, they’re sustainable!
Classic Beverage Dispenser Under $15
If there’s one thing that irks me during the extremely warm summer months, it’s that there is an abundance of flies and insects. Who wants them in their food and drinks? I definitely don’t! Having a beverage dispenser with a lid is an absolute must! It’ll keep your beverage cold and you worry-free!
I love how easy this Better Homes & Gardens beverage dispenser is to fill! I used store-bought lemonade from Walmart and added ice to it. I made sure and had this cute bright yellow citrus juicer on the table with a few lemons in case my guests love having extra lemon in their glasses of lemonade! This amazing beverage dispenser is budget-friendly at $15. At this great price, I recommend stocking up so you can fill them with your favorite beverages at your next party! You can have a drink station with iced tea, sangria for the adults, lemonade, iced coffee – you name it!
Gorgeous Milk White Cake Stand With A Dome Lid
I have shared a few times how much I adore this gorgeous milk white Pioneer Woman domed cake stand by one of my favorite interviewees, Ms. Ree Drummond! It is ideal for cakes and any dessert you choose. Since I adore s’mores I felt this cake stand was ideal for Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows! I had a few different kinds of marshmallows, wrapped Hershey bars, and graham crackers in the cake stand. The dome lid is very easy to lift, so I had no problem refilling it from time to time! I love that it kept my food bug-free!
Must Have Glass Vase For Flowers
I now own two of these fabulous vases and plan on purchasing more! This beautiful Libbey Glasswares wide cylinder glass vase is less than $5 and it’s beyond amazing! The glass is sturdy and I love that it has a wide mouth so I can add an abundance of hydrangeas, English roses, and dahlias from my garden. It looks great on this table, and it’ll also make a fantastic gift filled with your favorite flowers.
The Best Budget-Friendly Fire Pit For S’mores
Do you have a fire pit? I can’t get enough of this amazing budget-friendly Mainstays fire pit that I purchased recently at Walmart. I mentioned above how easy it is to assemble and that it was less than $45 with free shipping, which is unheard of! I didn’t have any fire logs, so I purchased Duraflame outdoor campfire logs from Walmart. I love that they’re renewable, emit very little smoke, which makes them perfect for roasting marshmallows! I plan on using this fire pit all summer long and into fall on my lawn and in my backyard. It’s going to get a lot of use well into Thanksgiving.
Marshmallows, Graham Crackers, and Chocolate for S’mores
One thing is for sure, you can’t have s’mores without Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. My grandpa always had a stack of chocolate when I was a kid, and I feel like I’m turning into him! I buy Hershey’s chocolate bars every time I place a Walmart grocery order! This time I added Graham crackers and marshmallows to the mix. I was thinking of making my own marshmallows – I love this recipe and make it a few times a year, but I wanted to make this tablescape as easy as possible! These vanilla marshmallows are absolutely amazing, so are these chocolate-stuffed marshmallows! I roasted a few vanilla marshmallows, chocolate-filled marshmallows (on roasting forks) added two pieces of chocolate, and topped them with graham crackers. Heaven!
The thing I love about s’mores is you can roast your favorite brand marshmallow or homemade marshmallows to your liking! How do you like yours? I love mine as dark as possible, with the thickest piece of chocolate and graham crackers. Talk about an easy and fantastic summer dessert the whole family will enjoy and talk about for years!
