There’s nothing like a delicious homemade sweet treat, especially during the holiday season! I can still remember the amazing baked goods my mom would make during the holidays when I was a kid. We would hand deliver them, and I would try to sneak as many rocky road candies as I possibly could! I love candies, cookies and following food bloggers who make delicious food. For years I’ve subscribed to the My Baking Addiction blog and just started following Melissa’s Southern Style Kitchen. They’re both such amazing food bloggers! I don’t know about you, but I can spend hours checking out blogs and being inspired to try new desserts.
This week Jamie Lothridge of My Baking Addiction and Melissa Spark of Melissa’s Southern Style Kitchen were kind enough to join me for an interview to dish on their favorite holiday traditions from the South and the midwest. They shared how to save time in the kitchen and much more! Jamie and Melissa also made no-bake Scotcheroos with chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, Karo Syrup and crispy cereal! If you’d like to personalize your Scotcheroos for the holidays, they have tips on how you can do so. Please be sure to watch the video below for details and the secret to making this amazing holiday dessert. For more information, please visit: KaroSyrup.com, their blogs or the Karo Syrup Facebook page.
