Hunter boots have always been a favorite of mine! You may remember this article I posted in 2010, where I featured some of the top celebrities wearing Hunters? It’s always been one of my most popular posts! I always wanted to pair, and in 2014 I made my first purchase. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t impressed. I thought they were gorgeous, but I didn’t find them comfortable. Well, that was until I bought my FAVORITE pair of Hunter Tour boots a year later.

To say I’m obsessed with Hunter Tour boots is an understatement. I wear them all the time. I honestly can’t wait for it to start raining here in Northern California so I can pair them with my favorite denim and Zella leggings.
The first Tour boots I bought were in the super popular color “military red” that all of our favorite fashion bloggers and lifestyle bloggers wear throughout the season. I then bought them in pink, which is my absolute FAVORITE! Earlier this year I bought a pair in black and I’m just as in love. I plan on getting this pair in jadeite green in the next few weeks.
What do I love most about Hunter Tour boots?
I simply adore the fact that they’re comfortable. I bought my first pair in my usual size 8, and they fit fine. When I ordered them in pink, they accidentally sent them in size 9. I was about to send the boots back when I decided to try them for size. I know everyone says go down a size in Hunters, but I can honestly say that I love them one size too big. They’re easy to slip on and off, and I can wear thick socks if I choose to.
I also love that they’re incredibly durable. My mom and I have a flower farm and I wear mine in the garden from mid-fall to late spring! Mine are still glossy and they’ve gotten wet quite a bit.
Last winter California experienced one of the wettest winters in history. We almost had to be evacuated due to the floods. Thankfully that didn’t happen. I don’t know what I would have done without my Penfield coat and my Hunters! They both kept me dry when I had to leave the house or take my dogs out.
My Weimaraner Fred loves to go for walks in the field across the street from my house. It gets so muddy after a rainstorm! I’m not going to lie, my boots got pretty dirty but I was able to clean them up fairly easily. They’re just as comfortable as my favorite Nikes!
Hunter Tour Boots are perfect for travelers!
They’ll fit in your suitcase or backpack. They bend very easily. In fact in some of my pictures you can see that they bend. They go back to their normal shape immediately.
Price point:
I love that they’re affordable at just $150. I’m guilty of spending more than that on shoes, so I love that they’re affordable. I usually buy a pair a year in a different color!
