Sophie Uliano’s DIY Sweet Orange Countertop Spray

 

Ingredients for Sweet Orange Countertop Spray (Do not use on glass) 

Here is a list of the four ingredients that Sophie Uliano used to make her fabulous sweet orange countertop spray!

• ¾ cup of water
• ¼ cup rubbing alcohol
• 5 to 10 drops of orange essential oil
• 1 squirt of natural dish soap

Ingredients for Lavender Disinfecting Spray 

Here is a list of the ingredients and materials that Sophie Uliano used to make her DIY lavender disinfecting spray.

• 1/2 cup white vinegar
• 1 and a half cups of water
• 10 drops lavender oil
• 10 drops lemon oil
• Pour in 24 ounce bottle and shake well
• Spray and let sit for 10 minutes and wipe with microfiber cloth

Ingredients for Hardwood Floor Cleanser 

Here is a list of the three ingredients that Sophie Uliano used to make her DIY hardwood floor cleanser.

• 1/2 cup white vinegar
• 1 gallon warm water
• 2-3 drops lemon oil

 

 

How To Make These Amazing Eco-Friendly Cleansers

 

DIRECTIONS FOR SWEET ORANGE COUNTERTOP SPRAY 

Pour all ingredients into a 16 oz spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto the surface and wipe with a microfiber cloth

WHY IT WORKS

*Rubbing alcohol kills bacteria & is fast drying.

*Natural dish soap is gentle and effective at removing dirt/ grease

*Essential oils are antibacterial

 

DIRECTIONS FOR LAVENDER DISINFECTING SPRAY 

Pour in 24 ounce bottle and shake well

Spray and let sit for 10 minutes and wipe with a microfiber cloth

WHY IT WORKS

*White vinegar and vodka inhibit the growth of germs

*Lavender and lemon essential oils are both antibacterial and antiseptic.

Mix in bucket Then you want to dip a mop into the bucket and wring it out so it’s barely damp and apply to your floors.

Vinegar cuts through dirt and grime

Water thins out the solution so that it isn’t harsh on the wood.

CLEANSER THAT IS SAFE FOR GRANITE, MARBLE AND QUARTZ SURFACES?

A lot of cleaners you can’t use on those surfaces. You can also use it on appliances, tables, bathroom sinks, window sills- but don’t use this one on glass! 

*All you need: ¾ cup of water, ¼ cup rubbing alcohol, 5 to 10 drops of orange essential oil and 1 squirt of natural dish soap. Pour all ingredients into a 16 oz spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto the surface and wipe with a microfiber cloth

*The rubbing alcohol kills bacteria and is fast drying. Natural dish soap is gentle and effective and removing dirt and grease and the essential oils are antibacterial and great smelling! 

AN ALL-NATURAL DISINFECTANT?

This is great to use in places where germs need to be killed! Clean your doorknobs, bathrooms, light switches- appliances you are touching all the time!

All you need: ½ cup of white vinegar, ½ cup vodka, 10 drops of lavender essential oil, 10 drops of lemon essential oil, and 1 ½ cups of water.  Pour into a 24 ounce spray bottle and shake well. For this one you want to spray the surfaces and let it sit for 10 minutes before wiping it with a microfiber cloth

White vinegar and vodka inhibit the growth of germs and lavender and lemon essential oils are both antibacterial and antiseptic. (as a bonus the lavender scent helps to relieve stress and boost mood!)  

 

 

YOU HAVE A DIY NATURAL HARDWOOD FLOOR CLEANER. WHAT DO WE NEED FOR THIS ONE?

What to use for hardwood floor. This one is really simple.  You take ½ cup of white vinegar, 1 gallon of warm water and 2-3 drops of lemon essential oil. Mix it all in a 2-gallon bucket. Then you want to dip a mop into the bucket and wring it out so it’s barely damp and apply to your floors.
