Tis the season for getting fit and in shape before the holiday party season commences and New Year’s Eve. One thing is for sure, you want to make sure you don’t injure yourself. A few years ago I decided I wanted to train for a 5k because my friends were doing them and I didn’t want to miss out. I paid for an app, did all the exercises and ended up injuring my leg. I realized I was going too fast and wasn’t preparing correctly. If you’re a beginner looking to get into shape, you’re in luck.

Fitness expert Ben Shear (he’s a performance coach for PGA touring professionals co-host of “Golfer’s Edge” on SiriusXM PGA Tour Radio and the Fitness Advisor for Golf Digest Magazine) joined me for an interview to share tips on how you can get fit and avoid injuries. He shared his top tips for minimizing sports-related pain before a workout, recovery tips and tools after completing strenuous workouts and much more!

Please be sure to watch the video below to see my interview with Ben Shear in its entirety. He shared a wealth of information we can all use! For more information please visit Thermacare.com.
