High top sneakers are one of the hottest shoe trends for 2023 and I’m obsessed! While deciding what to post this week, I thought to myself it’s a no-brainer – like many fashion lovers on social media, I’ve been coveting a pair of Jordan 1 Mids. In fact, I was perusing one of my favorite retailer’s apps recently when up popped a pair of Jordan high top sneakers I desperately wanted. When I went to click on my size it said that the shoe was only available via a lottery system and to email them. I thought this is so reminiscent of the mid-to-late 90s when Jordans were extremely popular and very hard to come by. The only difference is we had a phone book and a landline and called every retailer in our jurisdiction to see if they were available or what time they were going to be released so we could stand in line.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to splurge on a pair of highly sought-after/hard-to-come-by Jordans or buy another pair of must have Golden Goose high top sneakers since I love them so much.
