Olympians Dwight Howard (six time NBA All-Star), Summer Sanders (Swimming), Hunter Kemper (Triathlon), and siblings Mark Lopez and Diana Lopez (Taekwando) are partnering with Duracell as part of their “Rely on Copper to Go For the Gold” Olympic Games program, and announced their partnership in New York along with celebs Megan Hilty of NBC’s hit “Smash”, Chace Crawford of CW’s “Gossip Girl”, actor Joe Manganiello, ESPN’s Michelle Beadle and more on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. According to Business Wire the “Rely on Copper to Go For the Gold” program will “give consumers a portal to provide encouragement for the athletes through videos, pictures and texts as they train and compete for the Games in London. Consumers and athletes can access the Virtual Stadium via Facebook (Facebook.com/Duracell) and a free mobile application. Consumers can also participate via Twitter by using the hashtag #GivePower and letting @Duracell know who they are supporting. “
