Like many of you, I have been living in comfy clothes over the last few weeks. My trusty joggers, sweaters and cardigans have been staples in my wardrobe! One of the many great things I love about cardigans is you can wear them time and time again throughout the year! They have the power to dress any outfit up or down.
You can pair a cozy cardigan with joggers, shorts, leggings, jeans and dresses too! I bought a hooded cardigan last year during the Shopbop Sale and have been obsessed ever since. It keeps me warm in the morning when working at my desk. I have been wearing it when taking my dogs for a walk or feeding my ducks!
If you’re searching for a trendy cardigan for spring, you’re in luck. Today, I’m excited to share a few of the coziest cardigans for 2020 and beyond!
Classic and Comfy Solid Color Cardigans
If you’re anything like me you tend to splurge on solid color clothing as you know you’ll wear it time and time again for years to come! One thing is for sure, nothing is quite as cozy as items from the brand Barefoot Dreams! Their comfy and cozy blankets, cardigans, etc. tend to sell out right away at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as they are definitely worth the hype! Here are a few that I’m coveting for spring and will wear time and time again throughout the year.
Drape front cardigans are classy, chic and always on trend. This classic drape front Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Lite Island Cardigan comes in tons of colors – from Harbor Blue to Black, Taupe and Pacific Blue. Which one is your favorite?

Nothing says comfy and cozy quite like this Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Cardigan! It makes me want to curl up on the sofa with a cup of coffee (I love my Keurig!) and watch Netflix, old episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm or my new favorite – Maine Cabin Masters! What has been comforting you these days? Honestly, nothing makes me relax and enjoy the simpler things in life quite like old episodes of Cheers.

This CozyChic lite circle cardigan has been on my wish list, but it’s so popular it tends to sell out every time! I absolutely adore it in every color, especially this one which is “h silver pearl.” How about you?

This is the thermal hooded cardigan I purchased last year and absolutely adore. It’s perfect for spring showers or just relaxing in the house! PS: It’s currently on major SALE! I’m talking 40% off, which is unheard of. It comes in two colors and will be a staple in your casual wardrobe.

Budget Friendly Solid Color Cardigans Under $50
This trendy BP. Casual Open Front Cardigan is available in two colors (beige and black) and super affordable at just $39!

This popular Leith Open Front Cardigan is available in pink adobe, heather gray and in black. It’s only $49 and destined to be a favorite for years to come!

Trendy Chunky Cardigans For Chilly Spring Days!
We were treated to super warm temps throughout the month of February! It felt as though spring had arrived early, but here we are in the middle of March, and it’s going to be in the 30s tonight with rain tomorrow. While I’m thankful for the rain, I’m missing the sunshine! 😉 Thankfully there are a few trendy chunky cardigans that will look great and keep us warm.
First on my list is this Free People Sandstorm Cardigan. Isn’t it fab? I love everything about it! It’ll look great paired with a cute casual dress, a cami and skirt, high waisted denim and a band shirt or skinny jeans! The options are endless.

Madewell’s Bobble Sweaters have been a favorite for years! A few years ago I quickly became obsessed with their bobble sweater and had to have it in multiple colors. This spring this Madewell Bobble Cardigan is on my wish list! This is one you’ll wear time and time again – from spring to chilly summer nights on the back patio, fall and Thanksgiving too. I can’t wait to pair it with denim (or joggers) and sneakers. PS: It’s available in the colors “cool fog” and “vintage quartz.” It’s currently on sale and I want them BOTH!

Pink is such a hot color for spring, especially this rose pink Anine Bing Maxwell Cardigan! You can’t go wrong with this fab waist length cardigan. It will look phenomenal with a distressed denim skirt or high waisted denim and ankle boots or wedges!

Tie Dye Cardigans Are A Hot Trend For Spring 2020
It’s no secret, tie dye is the hottest print/pattern of 2020! I’m obsessed with this trend. I’m loving tie dye joggers, accessories and of course tie dye cardigans. Here are a few in a variety of styles and price ranges that you are sure to love.
Save:
Neutrals have been popular for the last few years and this one trend that isn’t going anywhere. If you love the look of tie dye, but looking for something in a neutral shade you can’t go wrong with this Sanctuary tie dye cardigan! I love the button detailing! It is almost sold out at Nordstrom, but I was able to find it on Anthro in many different sizes – from regular, petite and plus.

Splurge:
I’m officially obsessed with this designer Alanui Tie Dye Wool Cardigan in the color “Fucsia Pink Lapponia White.” It is absolutely stunning! Don’t you just love the fringe detailing and tie waist? It will look great with jeans, leggings and joggers.

Animal Print Cardigans Are Always A Must
If there’s one trend that will never go out of style, it’s definitely animal print! You can’t go wrong with a fabulous leopard print cardigan quite like this budget friendly Halogen Leopard Print Linen Blend Cardigan. It’s available in regular and petite, and will look great with your favorite blush or ivory top and jeans or leggings!

Balloon sleeves are a hot trend for spring 2020! I can’t get enough of this Louise Leopard Wrap with balloon sleeves. It will dress up any casual outfit.

Zebra print is projected to be one of the hottest prints/trends of 2020! How do you feel about this trend? I absolutely love it, especially this fab neutral zebra print Varley Camrose Cardigan!
