Typically she decorates her console tables, vintage hutch, hoosier and more with gorgeous glass ornaments, but this year thanks to Instagram she decided it was time to buy a 6.5 foot artificial silver tinsel tree! Today we decorated it with tons of vintage ornaments and I can’t believe how gorgeous it looks. My only hope is that the cat stays out of it!

My mom fell in love with this silver Christmas tree a little over a month ago on Instagram. She visited a few stores and was finally able to find it. There were only four in stock, but thankfully it’s fully stocked (as of today) online. This Holiday Time Silver Tinsel Tree is 6.5 ft tall, has 600 branch tips, 200 pre-strung clear incandescent lights, pre-lit with white lights and absolutely gorgeous. This afternoon we decorated it with some of her gorgeous vintage glass Christmas ornaments. I took quite a few photos with my iPhone (please excuse the quality!) during the day and tonight.
She bought a tree collar to put around it, and while I like it…we haven’t decided how we’re going to decorate the inside of it. Should we put cotton in it or fill it with a neutral faux fur throw?
