Bachelorette Weekend Star Rosa Castano Talks Hit Show
Candie Anderson: You’re starring on the hit show Bachelorette Weekend which airs on CMT. Can you tell us about it?
Rosa Castano: “Bachelorette Weekends shows how to live your best Bachelor/ette Party in Nashville! We are the boots on the ground and know all the ins and outs to the city and have built fantastic partnerships and connections over the years operating. However, with high stake parties comes internal office drama as well all operate a little different. We spend so much time together that we are like a small dysfunctional family!”
Rosa Castano Talks Bach Weekend Business
Candie Anderson: Your company Bach Weekend caters to Bachelor & Bachelorette parties. Tell us a little bit about your business!
Rosa Castano: “Several years ago Bachelor/ette parties started flocking to Nashville! Robbie saw a need and he built a company to meet that need! We can be as hands-on or as hands-off with the planning as the client would like us to be! Our goal is to have them experience their very best weekend and give them the ultimate last fling before the ring!”
How Bachelorette Parties Have Evolved
Candie Anderson: How have bachelorette parties evolved over the years?
Rosa Castano: “Years ago bachelor/ette parties were just going out on the town for a night and it was done. They have now evolved into extravagant weekend getaways! These weekends are now costing people anywhere in the range of $300-$800 to attend. This is where the company Bach Weekend saw that we could give guests 2x the party they could get on their own for half the price!”
Essentials Every Bachelorette Party Needs
Candie Anderson: What are some of the essentials that every bride-to-be and her bridesmaids need for bachelorette party season?
Rosa Castano: “If they are like most parties and plan to drink heavily I think having a hangover kit is essential! Ie. Ibuprofen, Tums, rehydration fluids etc.”
4 Secrets To Throwing The Best Bachelorette Party In Nashville
Candie Anderson: Nashville is one of the most popular places to host a bachelorette party. Do you have any advice for those visiting Nashville for the first time? Where should they go first? What do they need to do when they’re there?
Rosa Castano: “I highly recommend booking a house over a hotel because it allows a better atmosphere for everyone to be together and hang out! Thankfully, there are a TON of house rentals all within a 15 min radius of downtown.
My second piece of advice is to be sure to make reservations…a lot of restaurants in Nashville do not take reservations so it’s important to find the ones that do. Nothing is worse than rolling up with 10 hungry bachs and there’s a 1hr wait!
The third piece of advice is Nashville is a marathon, not a sprint…Nashville WILL drag you in and spit you out at 3am and win every time. Just try not to go too hard the first night because you paid a lot of money to be there and no sense in feeling miserable and not enjoying it.
My last piece of advice is let a service like Bach Weekend handle all those details for you! Bach Weekend makes everything easy from collecting money so you don’t have to pay for your friends, to reservations, to awesome night time parties! It will be the perfect itinerary for a memorable weekend!”
Nashville Bachelorette Party Fashion Essentials
Candie Anderson: When it comes to fashion, what are some of the essentials you need for a Nashville bachelorette party?
Rosa Castano: “Leave the stilettos at home! If you plan on hitting the honky tonks at all you do NOT want to be walking on the sidewalks and being stepped on in the bars. This is more of a wedge, bootie, boot city! Nashville nightlife is also much more down to earth than other high-end cities, dress to impress but no need to overdo it!”
Rosa Dishes On Her Business Yoga With Dogs
Candie Anderson: I’m a huge fan of your account Yoga with Dogs! Tell us about your business. What inspired it?
Rosa Castano: “This came from the fact that anytime I would try to do yoga at home my dog, Sadie, always thought it was play time and not a lot of yoga actually got done. Yoga with Dogs has become and fun community where people can show off their yoga moves with their dog photo bombing them at the same time!
How To Find More Information On Rosa And Bachelorette Weekend
Candie Anderson: Do you have any additional tips or information you’d like to share?
Rosa Castano: “One of my personal goals is to create a space to share fun videos and things that people enjoy to see around town and around the world! I am grateful for this opportunity because I have and will get to collab with some really great people! Lots of fun things in the works! Most recently my friend and local floral designer, Mary Love Richardson, did a video on How to make Flower Crowns!”
Candie Anderson: How can people find more information about Bachelorette Weekend and when does it air?
Rosa Castano: “Bachelorette Weekend has a new airtime of 12:30 am/c on CMT! Be sure to set those DVR’s and let me know that you are watching!”
