As a kid in the 90s, I loved the hit show “Sister, Sister” starring Tia and Tamera Mowry. They played twin sisters who were adopted by different families. As teenagers Tamera and her mother Lisa moved in with Tia and her father Ray, and they lived next door to a boy named Roger who had a crush on both girls. It was a funny, entertaining and wholesome show that parents felt comfortable having their children watch. It was so popular that parents today, are having their kids watch it too!
Actress and The Real talk show host, Tamera Mowry-Housley joined me for an interview this week to share big news for “Sister, Sister” fans – she’s working on a television reboot! Tamera told me that there are three steps to getting a show to production, and she’s at step 2.5.
During the interview, Tamera shared details about whether or not her parents and Roger will be starring on the new “Sister, Sister” TV show. She also shared some of the struggles she feels as a mom. Like many parents of toddlers and small children, her son has experienced bedwetting. Tamera Mowry-Housley shared how Good Nites have changed her son’s life and given him confidence. We also chatted about the pressures of social media, and how to feel content in today’s society with all the pressure we feel to be perfect.
It was a joy talking to Tamera Mowry-Housley this week. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I enjoyed speaking with her.
