When Valspar Paint asked me to review their Valspar Reserve Paint I was ecstatic yet very scared. I was thrilled because I was inspired to paint my bedroom a cream color after seeing this photo a trillion times on Pinterest and scared because the closest I’ve ever come to DIY is spray paint. Last year I fell in love with spray painting everything and I knew it was time to move onto another project, but I was terrified! I asked my mom to help me, and I have to say she was just as happy and just as panicked as I was. We’ve never considered ourselves painters by any means, we always hire others to the job for us, but we both felt it was time we overcame our fear of paint brushes, paint and paint rollers.
Since I don’t know much about painting, I went to my local hardware store and purchased a Wagner Paint n Roll Plus paint roller, which according to reviews makes painting quicker and easier. As a painting novice, that sounded great to me! I’ve always heard wonderful things about Valspar Reserve paint, one of my friends owns an antique shop in town and she relies on it for all of her DIY paint projects. Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint in the least. It didn’t take long to paint and the finish is GORGEOUS! The color I chose was Churchill Hotel Ecru, Reserve, Interior Flat, Base AA paint and it glided on easily. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I love antiques, glam accessories, Chanel, my foo dogs, floral prints and new Savannah rosette bedding, and this paint color just complements everything in my bedroom beautifully! This is the bedroom I always envisioned having when I was a kid and I finally got it. You’re never told to have your dream bedroom! My mom and I have decided we’re available for hire, we can paint walls, paint concrete floors (we learned the hard way) and decorate bedrooms with the best of them! 😉 Oh, and I might add my Weimaraner Fred is just loving my (his) new bedroom. Thank you so much to Valspar Reserve paint, I adore your paint and my new bedroom!

Disclosure: I was not compensated in any way for my review of Valspar Reserve Churchill Hotel Ecru paint, I was sent two gallons of paint to complete my paint project. As always opinions are my own, and yes, I am obsessed with how beautiful my bedroom looks!
