It’s no secret I love fashion, but I am a big sports fan as well. When it comes to baseball I root for the San Francisco Giants (National League) and the New York Yankees (American League). I’ve been glued to the set lately as the SF Giants are playing extremely well and are now in first place in the NL West! My fingers are crossed that they continue to play just as great the remainder of the season, make it to the playoffs and hopefully to the World Series!!! On Wednesday night supermodel and fellow San Francisco Giants fan, Marisa Miller threw out the ceremonial first pitch at AT&T park in San Francisco.
I’m not sure if any of you happened to watch the game or saw the outfit she wore on the mound on Tuesday, September 14, 2010? I absolutely love it and her beautiful hair! I am big fan of vintage inspired statement tees worn with skinny jeans/jeggings and leather riding boots, which is what she wore. Since many of you might be headed to the ballpark this weekend or in the weeks and years to come, I figured what better way to kick off the weekend than create a look based on Marisa’s!
Hi again, friends! It’s 2018, and I’m updating one of my favorite (and most popular) posts ever, which happens to be yours as well! Marisa Miller’s outfit must have brought our boys in orange and black a lot of luck in 2010 (and in 2012, and 2014 too). Can you believe we’re three time World Series champs? Since it’s an even year, I thought I’d update this post with a Shop The Post widget at the bottom. Sadly, the vintage Giants tee isn’t still in stock! It’s a great shirt. My mom took it from me, and still wears it all the time nearly eight years later.
Who is ready for an even year? I am!

I searched high and low for the SF Giants top she wore, turns out it’s a men’s shirt and the collar was cut and modified. If you’d like to purchase the top and possibly try your hand at modifying it, FansEdge sells it!

That shirt (and any retro inspired MLB shirt) will look great paired with skinny jeans! I don’t know the exact pair that she wore, but these are my FAVORITE distressed skinny jeans. I own them in multiples!
That top and those skinny jeans will look great paired with black leather riding boots! Since it’s so cold at AT&T Park much of the year, close toed shoes are a must.

And to complete the retro/boho sporty look, a couple necklaces from one of my favorite jewelry designers, Jennifer Meyer.
