I can’t even begin to tell you how happy we all are in California to finally have some rain! Yesterday’s short rain storm was definitely a welcomed sight here in Northern California. We’ve been living through one of the worst droughts our beautiful state has ever seen, and everyone is hoping and wishing that yesterday was just a preview of what’s to come this fall and winter. While I was very happy to see/feel the rain, I must admit I was kind of caught off guard by it! I had taken my dog Fred to the vet in just a tank top, jeans and my trusty Tory Burch sandals as it was a warm 80 degrees, and when we left it was pouring! Maybe the meteorologists are right, maybe we will be experiencing an El Nino episode this fall and winter? One can only hope.
