Like many of you, Chinese takeout is one of my favorites. If you love Chinese takeout, but looking to eat healthier in the new year, you’re in luck. This morning, renowned London based chef and “Stir Crazy” cookbook author, Ching-He Huang stopped by the Today show kitchen! She showed Today co-host Hoda Kotb (and all of us at home) how to make healthy and delicious takeout favorites. Healthy Three Cup Chicken

The first healthy and delicious dish that chef Ching-He Huang and Hoda Kotb made was healthy teriyaki three cup chicken. This recipe calls for these ingredients:

  • Chicken
  • Salt and white pepper
  • Cornstarch
  • Canola oil
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Red chile
  • Rice wine
  • Soy sauce
  • Toasted sesame oil
  • Sugar
  • Thai basil
