Lidia Bastianich is one of my favorite cooks and cookbook authors on the planet! I’ve featured her recipes quite a few times on the blog. This afternoon I was pleasantly surprised to see her cooking alongside chef Mario Batali (and a few of my favorite interviewees) on The Chew! Lidia made delicious oven-braised pork chops with apples, onions and dried cherries. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect dish? This will make a great holiday dinner!
