Like many of you, I looked up to figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi growing up! I admired her so much (and wanted to be just like her!) that I may have attempted a triple axel on my roller blades. Yeah, we’ll leave it at that, because it didn’t go according to plan. 😉 This afternoon Kristi Yamaguchi stopped by “The Chew” today to bake marbled shortbread cookies with one of my favorite interviewees, chef Carla Hall. She also dished on “Shall We Dance On Ice” and her book “Cara’s Kindness.” Did you happen to catch the episode? No worries if you missed it, I have the video below to share with you. Enjoy!
To make the marbled shortbread cookies, chef Carla Hall told Kristi Yamaguchi (and all of us at home!) that we’ll need unsalted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, kosher salt, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate and more. Be sure to watch the video below to see how she made these amazing cookies! Don’t forget to head over to “The Chew” website for the amazing recipe. These are perfect for Valentine’s Day!
The Chew video: Watch chef Carla Hall and renowned figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi of ABC’s “Shall We Dance On Ice” make marbled shortbread cookies on the Friday, February 10, 2017 episode of “The Chew.” *** If you have any questions or comments about the video below, the recipe or “The Chew” itself, please contact them directly on their website as I am not affiliated with the show.
