Thanksgiving dinner is never complete without a traditional green bean casserole! This morning on the Today show, Food Network stars Katie Lee and Alex Guarnaschelli stopped by to show Matt Lauer and all of us at home how to make delicious green bean casserole two ways (traditional and modern)!
To make the delicious traditional green bean casserole, one of my favorite interviewees, Ms. Katie Lee mentioned that you will need green beans, butter, onion, cremini mushrooms, flour, half and half, parmesan cheese, sherry vinegar and a few other ingredients. To make the modern green bean casserole, Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli mentioned that you will need garlic, dijon mustard, flour, bacon, string beans, salt, cayenne pepper, white button mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, heavy cream, sour cream, lemon, red onion, canola oil, Brussels sprouts.
