Kate Stewart has to be one of the luckiest kids ever! Not only does she have great parents and two awesome older brothers, but her mom and dad Scott and Julie Stewart created an animated series based on the adorable pigtailed five year old and her “lovey” (stuffed animal) called “Kate and Mim-Mim”. The popular Disney Junior series which celebrates imagination, friendship and the joys of childhood through engaging and uplifting stories with empowering “can-do” messages is beloved by children around the globe and is now in its second season.
Kate’s parents and the show’s creators Scott and Julie Stewart were kind enough to join me for an interview this morning to discuss their hit animated series “Kate and Mim-Mim”. They dished on what inspired them to create the show, the importance of a child’s “lovey”, their favorite aspect of the series, the new “Kate and Mim-Mim” toys and DVDs, books, apparel and much more!
Bonus: Watch a Kate and Mim-Mim clip!
