Just a few short months ago, Alisan Porter started trending on social media thanks to her amazing blind audition of Linda Ronstadt’s classic hit “Blue Bayou” before “The Voice” season 10 premiered. From that moment on, the world knew that Alisan was going to make it to the finals (or at least I did!) and I think we all knew she was going to be crowned the winner.
Alisan got her start in show business at an early age when she starred in one of the biggest blockbusters of the 90s – “Curly Sue”. This morning on the Today show, Hoda Kotb and guest co-host Jenna Bush Hager shared a video of Alisan Porter singing the Star Spangled Banner beautifully when she was about nine or 10 years of age in the film. Did you happen to see the video? Wow, she had an amazing voice even as a child! Thanks to the Today show and Hulu for sharing this video. Enjoy! PS: Week after week I shared videos of the performances on The Voice season 10, please be sure to click HERE for videos from this amazing season that will definitely go down in history. Congrats to Ms. Christina Aguilera for becoming the first female coach to ever win!
