YouTube is one of my favorite websites for inspiration these days! I use the fabulous site for makeup and skincare tips, hair ideas, DIY projects, music and of course I post my interviews there as well. This morning on the Today show, YouTube guru Lauren Riihimaki of LaurDIY stopped by the famed morning program to show Willie Geist, Tamron Hall and guest co-host Brooke Anderson some fun DIY ideas that are super easy and fun to create! PS: They are my favorite DIY projects of all. I’ve already made one of three, I’m sure I’ll work on the other two this weekend. They are the BEST!
If you have an abundance of Instagram photos that are too small for a 4 x 6 frame, you can easily make magnets out of them. Lauren showed Willie this DIY project that’s perfect for high school and college students, parents, grandparents and much more.
The next DIY she showed us how to make was s’mores dip! As soon as I hear the word s’mores, I knew I had to make them! If you have graham crackers, a baking dish, oven marshmallows and chocolate chips, you are set. I actually made this in a matter of minutes and it is beyond delicious! I can’t even begin to tell you how easy and good this is. Obsessed!
The last DIY project that Lauren Riihimaki of LaurDIY showed Willie Geist, Tamron Hall and guest co-host Brooke Anderson how to make was a beautiful glitter leaf garland for fall using my favorite DIY tool of all: glitter spray paint. You’ll also need fresh leaves, twine and a hole punch for this fabulous project! I love making wreaths with magnolia leaves, I may have to spray paint them with glitter beforehand. 🙂
