It’s hard to believe that spring is officially here, especially for our friends who’ve experienced a very long and cold winter on the East Coast. Now that the weather is heating up, and it’s officially spring break for many families, lifestyle expert Justine Santaniello joined me for an interview to dish on the secret to shaking off those winter blues and how you and your family can gear up for spring outdoors, whether you’re traveling or just hanging out in your backyard.
Candace Rose: How can we shake off the winter blues and gear up for spring?
Justine Santaniello: “I think we’re all really excited that spring is here. New season equals new start. It’s time to get outside, get active and focus on some me time for a change.”
Candace Rose: How can we protect our skin this spring?
Justine Santaniello: “If you’re going to be taking any spring excursions, hiking, camping, spending a lot of time outdoors, you want to make sure you’re prepared for the elements – things like sunburns, poison ivy, and mosquito bites that we all tend to get this time of year. You want to make sure you have the right treatment on hand like TRICALM. This is an over the counter anti-itch hydrogel. It’s actually five times more effective than a steroid based hydrocortisone, and because it’s steroid-free you don’t have to deal with things like skin discoloration, skin thinning – it absorbs really quickly into the skin and no greasy residue. You can use this on ages two and up, so it’s perfect to take on a family trip.”
Candace Rose: Is there anything else that we can do to gear up for spring?
Justine Santaniello: “Getting outside really means more than just fun time, you can take your work outside with you and that’s been proven to increase productivity. You want to make sure you’re things very light and easy while you’re on the go, and that is why I love this Intel powered Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro. This is the ultimate convertible device. It goes from laptop to tablet to tent to stand. The Intel processor inside is what’s giving you the battery life, faster internet speeds and you can see it’s really sleek and lightweight so you can take it with you anywhere you’re going this summer and spring.”
Candace Rose: Do you have any additional tips or information you’d like to share?
Justine Santaniello: “Just make sure that in this new season you’re finding time to do all the activities that you love that you couldn’t do over the winter, so something like going to your local farmers market and picking up all the latest fresh produce, maybe taking a yoga class outdoors or maybe that book you’ve been reading, and reading it outside instead of cooped up inside.”
Candace Rose: Where can we go for more information?
Justine Santaniello: “You can go to my site: JustHaves.com.”
