When I was a kid I hated asparagus. You couldn’t pay me enough to eat it! When anyone even mentioned the word asparagus I would cringe – it was that bad. I’m not quite sure how old I was when I decided to give this delicious vegetable a second look and the rest is history. I now eat asparagus on the daily! I love that it’s asparagus season, and I can’t deny that I’ve been known to pay an arm and a leg throughout the year just so I can enjoy this healthy and nutritious vegetable.
