I absolutely adore magnolia wreaths and garlands! Not only are they beautiful during the holidays, but they’re so gorgeous that you can leave them up throughout the year. My mom has a beautiful magnolia tree and we have been talking about making a wreath or garland for the last year or so, but have never gotten around to it. Every time I walk by that beautiful tree I think about everything I’d love to make with its gorgeous leaves, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten. It wasn’t until I was watching Clinton Kelly make his beautiful festive berry wreath on “The Chew” on Wednesday and he mentioned that on Thursday’s show he was going to dish on how to make a magnolia leaf garland, that I decided once and for all that I’m going to make one!
Much to my surprise the magnolia leaf garland that Clinton made on “The Chew” on Thursday, December 11th doesn’t call for real leaves, but a magnolia leaf template, some card stock and scissors! This would be a fun craft project the kids can do too with adult supervision, of course.
