Before I get to the delicious recipe that our friends on “The Chew” made with their Vitamix 750 yesterday, I must mention how much I LOVE mine. I had always wanted one and heard how amazing they are and of course how life changing owning one is. I can’t tell you how great I feel when I use mine. I stopped relying on supplements, I now get all the nutrients I need from the food I consume. I never was one for ginger or even kale, but since I got my Vitamix for Christmas last year, I started including them in various recipes, and I now consume them on the daily. It’s gotten to the point now that I’ll even make ginger tea and drink it straight. I don’t even need to pulverize it in my trusty blender anymore, I actually enjoy it now.
The first thing I made with my Vitamix was a sorbet, I’ve made migraine relieving drinks, authentic Mexican corn tamales, cocktails, avocado and chocolate smoothies (OMG BEST ever) among many other things. I know some of you may be on the fence about purchasing one, and you’ve wondered if it’s a good investment or not. My Vitamix is my favorite tool in the kitchen. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it. It has a seven year warranty, so I never have to worry about anything going wrong with it. Christmas Day will be a year that I’ve owned my trusty Vitamix. I can honestly say that there’s nothing that I’m asking for, for Christmas this year, I got everything I ever wanted in my VITAMIX! Okay, now onto the recipe 🙂
On yesterday’s episode of ‘The Chew”, Daphne Oz shared her delicious Apricot Old Fashioned Crush drink, which she made with her Vitamix 750. This cocktail sounds so amazing, I can’t wait to play bartender and make it for my family and friends on Christmas Day!
