Celebrity Makeup Artist, Amy Oresman and Beauty Expert, Jenn Falik with the beauty, skincare and health care must haves for back to school for women of all ages (not just students 😉
Candace: Well, this first question is for both of you- what are the must have beauty products every girl needs for back to school?
Amy Oresman: "Well, boy do we have some for you today. First of all I'd like to talk a little bit about one of my favorite things in all makeup which is gorgeous skin. I really think that's a must have for back to school, it's a must have for all ladies and it's really not that complicated to get it. What you want to do is you want to start with a preventative skincare line like Neutrogena Acne Wash in Pink Grapefruit. This is a great product, it has microclear technology, so it's really going to cleanse the skin as well as prevent future breakouts. It gives you a really squeaky clean feel and it smells like delicious grapefruit, so it really takes the chore out of washing your face.
Also, if you love founadon like I do, really try Neutrogena SkinClearing foundation; this line is fantastic. It comes in a liquid foundation as well as a powder and a really easy blemish concealer you can pop in your backpack. That's definitely a must have for the school season because this gives gorgeous coverage. It wears like real skin but it's working overtime because it also has microclear technology, so it's working to give you an overall better complexion.
And the other thing is get involved this school season; Neutrogena's making that really easy for you to do this month- if you purchase any of these products, Neutrogena will donate $1 to Global Giving as a part of their Wave For Change campaign."
Jenn Falik: And we've also got some more health related products that are going to help you look beautiful and be healthy when you go back to school starting with a bright, white smile and Rembrandt's new Deeply White collection toothpaste and mouthwash is the perfect way to do that. You can get these products at the drugstore so they're affordable and they're effective. The toothpaste is especially going to get rid of stains above and below the surface so it's the ultimate efficiency; there you're really targeting those stains where they start and there's fluoride too, so it's going to strengthen your smile while you whiten.
Another bi product of back to school season is late nights and early mornings and that can mean really tired, exhausted eyes and so Visine Tired Eye Relief is the perfect way to soothe and comfort your eyes. It's going to revive your eyes with their hydro blend formula. It gives you up to 10 hours of comfort so if you're staring at the computer working on homework, reading for hours on end that can really take a toll on you; literally lose your focus and this helps you get that back. Put this in your backpack; next to your computer; in your desk drawer. You will be using it daily (the harder you're working) and since back to school season can also mean some boo-boo blunders; Band Aid has these great Mickey Band Aids that have just come out and they have a fun retro inspired look. I love the vintage tins; you can get these at Amazon.com.

And important to note there's a myth out that you should let a wound dry out to make it heal faster; not the case. The second you get a cut put an antibacterial ointment on there like a Neosporin. Dab that on to help your cut heal faster and to get rid of any possible, visible signs of scarring. Top it off with a Band Aid and you are going to heal yourself effectively, efficiently and in style."
