Nothing says Father’s Day weekend quite like a delicious barbecue with amazing side dishes like pesto potato salad! This morning one of my favorite Food Network hosts, Ms. Sunny Anderson was on the Today show cooking up this special dad’s day/summer dish. Did you have a chance to watch? Sunny Anderson of Food Network’s “The Kitchen” joined TODAY’s Al Roker was on the base of the 101st Airborne in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where Sgt. 1st Class Chris Nuyen, a deserving dad, has gotten a big Father’s Day surprise. Chris showed them how he prepares steak (that’s the first dish he ever made his wife), and he learned how to make Sunny’s pesto potato salad. To make this great dish, she mentioned you will need these ingredients: store-bought pesto, Greek yogurt, lemon zest, agave nectar, salt, black pepper, fingerling potatoes (or any potato you like).
