The shortbread chick cookies Martha Stewart shared are adorable! She glazed them with a lemon glaze which was made with “confectioners sugar and lemon juice.” She decorated them sugar candies.
If you aren’t up to dyeing Easter eggs this weekend, Martha has a great trick – grab your favorite stamps and stamp your Easter eggs! This is such a cute idea, and these stamped Eggs look ADORABLE! Be sure to watch the Today show video below to see how she did this with stamps and an ink pad. PS: She also DIY’d a beautiful pedestal that will be the perfect centerpiece on your Easter inspired tablescape.
Are you searching for a spring inspired place card DIY? If so, you’ll adore the spring flower place cards she created using vegetable coloring, coffee filters and cupcake liners. The daffodil place cards are so pretty! They’re absolutely perfect for spring. I can see them used at a garden party, bridal shower, baby shower, tea party and more.
Martha Stewart also dished on how to make a beautiful spring inspired watercolor table runner! They’re very affordable to make. I’ve seen this online for much more than what it costs to make. She used fabric medium acrylic paint, water, water bottles. Never to be outdone, the DIY queen made napkin holders using hardboiled Easter eggs. 🙂 Be sure to head over to the Today show website for all the details on her Easter DIY projects!
