My love for red velvet EVERYTHING started when I worked at a bakery in college, and this is one dessert I can never get enough of (I may have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to my love of red velvet). This morning, one of my favorite cooking experts, the only and only Elizabeth Heiskell aka the debutante farmer stopped by the Today show to make sweet and simple recipes for red velvet brownies with cream cheese and Mississippi mud brownies without the box mix.

To make the red velvet brownies with cream cheese, Elizabeth Heiskell mentioned that you will need bittersweet chocolate, butter, sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder, vanilla, salt, cream cheese, powdered sugar, red food coloring.
