On last night’s episode of the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy welcomed guests, First Lady Michelle Obama and the legendary Stevie Wonder who serenaded her with his classic songs “Isn’t She Lovely” and “My Cherie Amour”. Jimmy and the First Lady also wrote thank you notes! She even got James to smile. 🙂
On the Wednesday, January 11, 2017 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, First Lady Michelle Obama wrote thank you notes to “Barack, for proving you’re not a lame duck, but my very own silver fox.” Jimmy proceeded with “Thank you, First Lady Michelle Obama for bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘the right to bear arms.” Jimmy handed the pen and paper back to our beautiful First Lady, and she penned a thank you note to “Inauguration day or as I like to call it ‘Let’s Move!”
The king of weekly thank you notes, the one and only Jimmy Fallon wrote another note to “Mrs. Obama for being a strong, smart independent woman, activist, a style icon and a great dancer; and showing us all what it would look like if Beyonce married a much nerdier Jay Z. With just seconds to go, Mrs. Obama wrote a thank you note to “My initiative Reach Higher for encouraging every student in America to get a college education after high school, which is also known as ‘four more years.”
The last thank you of the night was written by Tonight show host Jimmy Fallon who stated “Finally, thank you Mrs. Obama for always promoting physical fitness, and hey since you like exercising so much, why don’t you run for president?” Michelle Obama 2020!
