It’s no secret that kale has been the “it” vegetable the last few years and it’s easy to see why, it’s healthy and very delicious! This morning, popular food blogger, Siri Daly of Siriously Delicious and chef Ben Ford of Ford’s Filling Station stopped by the Today show to show Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb (and all of us at home!) how to make two delicious kale dishes that will be perfect for Thursday, November 24, 2016.
The first dish made was chef Ben Ford’s kale soufflé with leeks and comte cheese! To make this tasty dish, chef Ben mentioned that you will need garlic, onions, kale, comte cheese, leeks, milk, butter, flour, chicken stock, egg whites and a few other ingredients. To make the crispy kale salad Siri Daly made (based on the Love and Salt restaurant), she mentioned that you will need Tuscan kale, mini baguette, olive oil, prosciutto, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, ricotta salata, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt and pepper, lemon, a food processor.
