This morning on the Today show, one of my favorite Food Network hosts Ina Garten of Barefoot Contessa stopped by to dish on her new cookbook “Cooking For Jeffrey” and to show Matt Lauer (and all of us at home) how to make delicious filet mignon with mushroom sauce! PS: She also stopped by the fourth hour with KLG and Hoda to make pork tenderloin with plum chutney.
To make the delicious filet mignon with mushroom sauce, Ina Garten mentioned that you will need filet mignon, canola oil, fleur de sel, salt and pepper, butter, cremini mushrooms, dry sherry, olive oil, shallots, cognac, heavy cream, dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, parsley.
