This morning on the fourth hour of the Today show with KLG and Hoda, New Orleans born chef, cookbook author, food historian and radio host Poppy Tooker stopped by to dish on her fabulous cookbook Tujague based on the famous restaurant! She also made her famous creole gumbo which sounds absolutely amazing.
To make the delicious creole gumbo, chef Poppy Tooker mentioned that you will need shrimp stock, vegetable oil, flour, onion, celery, bell pepper, smoked sausage, gumbo crabs, creole seasoning, gulf shrimp, crab claw meat, gulf oysters, parsley, green onions, file powder.
