Review: Fred The Weimaraner Loves Lindy & Company Gourmet Pet Treats!

It’s no secret to those who know me or follow me on Instagram – my dogs are my world, especially my Weimaraner Fred who has unfortunately had a string of health problems over the last year. He seemed to be doing better for months, but became so sick a few weeks ago that we thought we were going to lose him. Thankfully he seems to be doing much better, and we’re hoping and praying he’ll stay healthy.

Fred is my buddy! I make a point of taking him on daily walks, playing with him in the backyard, and lucky for him, his mama does her best to make sure he eats as healthy as possible! This boy is super picky, especially when it comes to dog treats. If Fred doesn’t like something he’ll spit it right out (no manners, I tell ya!), so when I was asked to have him review healthy dog treats from Lindy & Company Gourmet Pet Treats (100% of the proceeds help homeless youth), I knew he had to give them a try!

I firmly believe in eating as healthy as possible, and feel that my pets should as well. I also thoroughly believe in giving back to those less unfortunate, so I was excited to have him give these a try. Lucky for Fred, the biscuits arrived the day he got home from the vet hospital and he fell in love with them! In all honesty, they smell amazing, almost as if they came straight from your local bakery.

Fred loves his Lindy & Company Gourmet Pet Treats, especially the Pumpkin Pie biscuits! (Zebra tray, Leopard Print clutch).

Lindy & Company Gourmet Pet Treats are cost effective (at just $5.99, $6.99) a bag, are very healthy and let’s not forget – Fred and his sisters love them! Some of the dog biscuits are grain free, gluten free and vegan too. They love them all, especially the pumpkin pie treats which are made of garbanzo bean flour, honey, applesauce, water, pumpkin powder, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, ascorbic acid (preservative), tocopherols (preservative). They smell just like pumpkin pie!

Tonight he shared a few Sweet Pea biscuits and Cranberry Supreme biscuits with his “sister” Lucy and our neighbor Max. I have to tell you, I’ve never seen such well behaved dogs in all my life – they were just sitting there like perfect little angels waiting for their biscuits! 😉

Will I buy Lindy & Company Gourmet Pet Treats for Fred and his siblings? ABSOLUTELY! Their gourmet pet treats are healthy, cost effective and give back to homeless youth by teaching them “valuable work skills so they never have to be homeless again. Lindy & Company was created by Daybreak, a nonprofit in Dayton Ohio, that provides shelter, housing, and support for youth who have no place to call home.”
