It’s Easter brunch week on the Today show, and like many of you, I’m eager to start prepping for the holiday (please see my Food section for details on a few of the dishes shared this week). This morning on the famed morning program, Food Network chef Bobby Flay stopped by to show Willie Geist how to make an amazing Spinach and Gruyere Cheese Strata that sounds absolutely delicious, and is perfect for Easter brunch with the family and friends. Did you have a chance to watch the segment? No worries as I have the video posted and a link to the recipe below. Enjoy!
To make the delicious Bobby’s famous Spinach and Gruyere Cheese Strata (which he described as a “savory bread pudding”), Bobby Flay mentioned you’ll need French bread, butter, canola oil, caramelized onions, thyme, gruyere cheese, eggs, spinach, whole milk, heavy cream, dijon, salt and pepper, nutmeg, olive oil, cherry tomatoes, chives. Be sure to watch the video below to see Bobby Flay demonstrate how to make the strata! Don’t forget to head over to the Today show website for the recipe.
