Tis the season for holiday parties, delicious decadent food and getting in shape! We all want to look great when 2016 rolls around, which believe it or not is less than a month away. I don’t know about you but I am ready to bid 2015 adieu and start a fresh new year healthy, fit and in shape.
Speaking of getting in shape, I was recently sent the Empower 3-in-1 Kettlebell for review. I’ve always wanted to try using a kettlebell, I’d had heard great things about them during interviews, but stuck to my usual dumbbells when I had the desire to work out a bit. This kettlebell has a five, eight pound and 12 pound option and also comes with a DVD. Since I am a beginner and fairly petite, I’ve been using the five pound option and I absolutely love it. I love that how easy it is to remove the weight levels (five pound, 3 pound, 4 pound) and connect them together. The DVD comes with workouts, and there is a workout guide that has detailed instructions (and pictures) on how to do a double arm swing, alternating one-arm swing, infinities, pile sqaut to upright row, bicep curls with heel lift, row to tricep kickback, and single leg dead lift.
Right now I’m currently working on my arms. I’ve only been using the kettlebell for about a week, so I can’t wait to share my progress in the next few months. All I know is I’m already starting to feel the burn! The Empower 3-in-1 kettlebell retails for $39.99 and would make a great holiday gift!
If you’ve always wanted to try the Empower 3-in-1 Kettlebell that’s “ergonomically designed for a woman’s grip” you’re in luck! Not only did I do this review, but I am also hosting a giveaway (for those in the continental U.S.). Please be sure to follow this link for your chance to enter to win after midnight on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
