How To DIY A Holiday Photo Booth As Seen On Hallmark’s Home & Family Show

Are you throwing a fun holiday party for friends and family but in need of holiday decor or perhaps a photo booth? We all know that a party isn’t a party unless there are photos involved, especially fun photos that our loved ones can share on social media! Yesterday on one of my favorite TV shows, Hallmark’s Home & Family, Maria Provenzano showed the program’s co-hosts how to make a festive DIY holiday photo booth. Lucky for you, we have the video and directions so you can have your photo booth ready for your holiday party/Christmas party this weekend.

Materials for the Tinsel Backdrop

  • Sheets of tinsel about 3 feet wide; different colors optional
  • Tape

Instructions

Wrapping Paper

Step 1: Roll the wrapping paper out onto the wall

Step 2: Attach the wallpaper using tape to the highest desires point; it is a good idea to keep some of the wrapping paper on the ground as well for guests to stand on if they want to do a full body picture

Step 3: Make sure to tape the wrapping paper to the ground if you are doing this step.

Step 4: Measure how long you need the fishing wire to be to hang the snowflakes from the ceiling

Step 5: Attach the snowflakes to the fishing line with a glue gun;

Step 6: Make sure to make the finishing line different lengths and the snowflakes in different places to create the look that it is snowing.

TINSEL BACKDROP

Step 1: Hang lighter color first

Step 2: Layer the colors having the lighter color as the base Step 3: Using sharp scissors, cut tinsel at an angle
